Paul Yock is the Martha Meier Weiland Professor in the School of Medicine and Professor of Bioengineering at Stanford University. He founded the Department of Bioengineering and directs the Program in Biodesign.
Research focuses on inventing catheter-based medical devices including the Rapid Exchange angioplasty system, Doppler-guided hypodermic needles, and intravascular ultrasound. Current work explores stem cell delivery to the heart and technology translation frameworks.
