Paul S. Atkins is a Professor and Japanese Program Coordinator in the Department of Asian Languages and Literature at the University of Washington, Seattle. His research focuses on medieval Japanese literature, drama, and cultural studies. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Tokyo.
