Paul R. Demers serves as Adjunct Faculty in Clarinet within the Instrumental Studies department at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance. He maintains an active dual career as a professional musician and educator, currently performing with The Philadelphia Orchestra since 2006.
His educational background includes:

- DePaul University (Bachelor and Master of Music degrees with Performance Certificate)
Specializing in clarinet performance, Demers has developed expertise through training under renowned instructors John Bruce Yeh and Larry Combs. His performance career spans multiple prestigious venues including regular appearances with the Dolce Suono Ensemble and Network for New Music in Philadelphia, plus summer festival engagements at Lake Champlain, Saratoga, Kingston, and Bravo! Vail Chamber Music Series.
As an educator, Demers extends his teaching beyond Temple University to summer programs at Curtis Summerfest and the New York State School of Orchestral Studies, bringing his extensive orchestral experience to student musicians. His background with "The President's Own" Marine Band, where he served as soloist and E-flat clarinetist, provides unique perspective for training the next generation of wind players.
