Paul Meier

Paul Meier is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, affiliated with the Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment.

Research Interests:

• Environmental engineering and energy systems analysis
• Climate change mitigation strategies
• Air quality and health impact modeling
• Life cycle assessment of renewable energy systems

Recent Publications (2024–2013) focus on sulfur reduction strategies, energy transition impacts, biofuel systems, and climate-health interactions, particularly in the eastern United States. Key themes include multi-pollutant emission analysis, carbon-free electricity, decentralized biorefinery systems, and quantifying co-benefits of climate policies.
