Paul Marr is a Research Professor of Geography in the Geography & Earth Science Department at Shippensburg University. Dr. Marr earned his PhD from the University of Denver and both his MS and BA from the University of North Texas. His academic background supports his specialization in quantitative geographical analysis.
His research and teaching interests focus on Geo-archaeology, Historical Geography, Quantitative techniques, and Latin American geography. He has developed and taught GEO 441: Quantitative Methods, a rigorous course covering statistical methods for geographical analysis including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and spatial pattern techniques. His expertise is demonstrated through extensive teaching materials including lecture notes, SPSS lab sheets, and statistical examples.
