Dr. Paul M. Ribisl is Professor Emeritus of Health and Exercise Science at Wake Forest University. As co-founder of the university's Cardiac Rehabilitation Program (1975-1991) and former department chair (1991-2007), his research focuses on graded exercise testing for coronary heart disease, exercise programming for chronic diseases, and measurement of physical activity. He contributed to the NIH-funded 'LOOK AHEAD' trial and 'CHANGE' intervention study.
