His research focuses on Popular Music History and Cultural Studies, with particular emphasis on the origins of Rock & Roll and sociocultural dynamics in music. He has contributed to academic discourse through publications in the MEIEA Journal, including his 2012 article analyzing racial politics in the emergence of Rock & Roll.
