Paul Hughes

Dr. Paul Hughes is a Research Scientist & Project Manager in Magnetic Resonance Physics at the School of Medicine and Population Health, University of Sheffield. His work focuses on advanced MRI techniques for pulmonary disease assessment, particularly using hyperpolarized xenon-129 to study ventilation, perfusion, and gas exchange abnormalities in conditions like COPD, asthma, and Long-COVID.
