Paul Dark is Professor of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Manchester and Honorary NHS Consultant at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. An NIHR Senior Investigator, his research program focuses on molecular diagnostics for sepsis/severe infections and developing point-of-care technologies to optimize antimicrobial use. He co-leads NIHR Manchester BRC's respiratory infections sub-theme and the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Emergency and Acute Care.
