Paul Dainer

Paul Dainer is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, specializing in Hematology and Oncology. He has held multiple leadership roles including Chairman of the Cancer Committee, MCG IRB Committee Chairman, and Chief of Hematology/Oncology at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.

His clinical research focuses on hematologic malignancies, with expertise in antiangiogenic therapies, bone marrow transplantation, and thrombocytopenia. Recent publications reveal active engagement in tyrosine kinase inhibitors, epigenetic therapies for leukemia, and genetic hematologic disorders. His work spans both clinical trials and translational research.
