Paul Bateman is Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School, where he developed the Academic Support Program and teaches legal writing. With PhD in English from Kent State University, his scholarship focuses on improving legal pedagogy and judicial writing.
Research examines effective teaching methodologies for legal education, including student engagement techniques and curriculum design for research/writing programs. Recent publications analyze debriefing strategies and diverse instructional approaches.
