Paul Adam is an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales' School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on coastal ecology, rainforest biogeography, and conservation biology. With a PhD from Cambridge University, he has made significant contributions to wetland ecology and biodiversity conservation.
His research interests include:
- Coastal saltmarsh ecology
- Australian rainforest pollination ecology
- Urban bushland conservation
- Threatened species management
Professor Adam has received several prestigious awards including membership in the Order of Australia and the Ecological Society of Australia's Gold Medal. He serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Ecology and chairs ANZAAS.
