Patsy Sibley is Associate Teaching Professor in Interdisciplinary Studies at North Carolina State University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She teaches courses in gender studies, science and technology studies, and psychology.
Her research investigates women's development of scientific identity, representation and diversity experiences in STEM fields, identity formation, and gender beliefs across the lifespan. Sibley developed courses including Feminist Futures, Women and Gender in Science and Technology, and The Art & Science of Happiness.
She previously served as WISE Scholar-in-Residence, organizing undergraduate research experiences and programming on diversity and cultural competency for the Women in Science and Engineering living/learning village.
