Patrycja Romaniuk is a Lecturer at Civitas University and co-founder of the HIVE – Systems Collective Design Lab. As a Sociologist with over a decade of professional training experience, she operates at the intersection of science, society, and business, specializing in sustainable development across organizational value chains and strategic management process optimization.
She holds a degree in Applied Social Sciences from Warsaw University and a specialization in Responsible Business Strategy from Kozminski University.
Romaniuk's research integrates Sociology with Sustainable Development, Strategic Management, Responsible Business practices, Citizen Science, and Innovation Management. Her expertise manifests through consulting work at The Sustainers and as a European Commission expert since 2015, where she evaluates Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects focused on disruptive innovations and citizen science initiatives.
She co-founded the HIVE – Systems Collective Design Lab at Civitas University, an interdisciplinary research space dedicated to developing collective design methodologies for addressing complex societal challenges through systems thinking approaches.
