Patrik Rytterström

Patrik Rytterstrӧm is an Associate Professor in Nursing Science and Occupational Therapy Research at Linköping University. His research examines mental health trajectories, suicide prevention, and technology-enabled rehabilitation. Methodologically grounded in qualitative inquiry, his work explores lived experiences of mental health crises, bereavement following suicide, and innovative interventions for physical activity promotion.

Notable projects investigate suicide trajectories through survivor narratives, exergaming feasibility for elderly cardiac patients, and family experiences with pediatric long COVID.
