Patrick Whitlock, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical-Affiliate at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. His education includes a PhD in Engineering from University of Cincinnati (2005) and MD from Drexel University (2005), with specialized training in hip reconstruction at the Maurice E. Muller Foundation (2013) and pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Los Angeles Children's Hospital (2014).
Research focuses on orthopaedic biomaterials and tissue engineering, particularly decellularized scaffolds for tendon/ligament reconstruction and biomechanical evaluation of surgical techniques.
