Patrick Tighe

Patrick Tighe, FAIA, FAAR is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California's School of Architecture and Principal of Patrick Tighe Architecture. He holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA. His work emphasizes sustainability, technology, and innovation, with projects spanning affordable housing, commercial spaces, and cultural installations. Notable achievements include the 2007 Mercedes T. Bass Rome Prize and AIA Fellow status (2011).

Research interests focus on integrating technology and sustainability into contemporary design. Key projects include the Sierra Bonita Affordable Housing (2012, award-winning green building) and the Moving Picture Company headquarters (2011). His installations, such as 'Out of Memory,' explore interdisciplinary intersections of form, sound, and light.

Awards include seven National AIA Honor Awards and recognition in the MOCA exhibit 'A New Sculpturalism.' Tighe lectures internationally and has been featured in Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, and Phaidon publications.
