Patrick T. Reeves

Patrick T. Reeves is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine. He serves as a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Obesity Medicine Specialist in the U.S. Army, currently stationed at BAMC/WHMC in San Antonio, TX. His roles include clinical management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases in children, health professions education, and development of innovative educational tools.

His research interests span three primary areas: (1) development of point-of-care tools and clinical action plans to enhance patient knowledge transfer and disease management; (2) epidemiologic database studies on pediatric emergency care; and (3) design of interactive, virtual, and asynchronous medical education curricula. His work integrates clinical expertise with JavaScript coding and curriculum innovation to address gaps in pediatric gastrointestinal care and healthcare delivery systems.

Additional skills include proficiency in both outpatient and inpatient management of pediatric GI disorders, acute procedural interventions, and health professions education frameworks. His affiliations include Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the San Antonio Pediatric Residency program at Brooke Army Medical Center.
