Patrick Sharkey

Patrick Sharkey is William S. Tod Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs at Princeton University, where he directs the Center on Transnational Policing. His research examines urban inequality, violence, and criminal justice policy.

Education includes a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policy from Harvard University. Research focuses on neighborhood effects, racial inequality, and the social consequences of violence.
