Patrick Schelling

Dr. Patrick Schelling is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Central Florida's College of Sciences. His computational research investigates electron, mass, and heat transport phenomena in materials systems, with applications to nanomaterials, planetary science, and interfacial phenomena.

Research employs molecular dynamics simulations to elucidate non-equilibrium thermodynamics, including Soret effects in supercritical fluids, resistivity size effects in metallic films, and dissipation mechanisms in nanoparticle collisions.
