Patrick Pilarski is Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Alberta and Canada CIFAR AI Chair. Leads the Amii Adaptive Prosthetics Program developing intelligent artificial limbs using reinforcement learning. Pioneered real-time prediction learning for prosthetic control and co-founded DeepMind's Edmonton research office.
