Patrick Lynch

Dr. Patrick Lynch is a Lecturer at the School of Business of South East Technological University (SETU), Ireland, and serves as Director of RIKON, a business innovation research center. He has supervised Masters and Doctoral students to completion and actively contributes to applied innovation research in marketing, business models, and smart cities.

• 2021: Principal Investigator for a €27M Urban Regeneration Development project with Waterford City and County Council.
• 2020: Secured €1.7M government funding for a Lean Industry 4.0 facility.

Patrick’s work focuses on:

• Business model innovation and market modeling in competitive industries
• Technology-driven transformations in smart cities and SMEs
• Lean methodologies and agile practices in construction and project delivery

Scientific Awards:

• Emerald Global Literati Prize for Excellence (2016, 2014)

Grants & Leadership:
Over 15 years, he has led European projects as work package/task leader, secured industrial/government funding, and advised on business process excellence via Enterprise Ireland. His team at RIKON specializes in enabling organizational transformation through strategic innovation.
