Patrick Guidotti

Patrick Guidotti is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), affiliated with the Department of Mathematics within the School of Physical Sciences. He holds a PhD from Zurich University (1996) and has held academic positions at institutions including the University of Zurich, California Institute of Technology, and UCI, where he served as Vice-Chair for Graduate Studies (2012-2019). His research focuses on partial differential equations (PDEs), nonlinear diffusions, and applications in image processing and mathematical biology. Guidotti has supervised numerous PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, contributing to their careers in academia and industry.
