Patrick Doyle

Dr. Patrick Doyle is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics & Public Administration and Ralahine Centre for Utopian Studies at the University of Limerick. Previously a Hallsworth Research Fellow in Political Economy at the University of Manchester, his work focuses on the history of economic democracy, capitalism-religion intersections, and Irish state-building through the co-operative movement. He authored Civilising Rural Ireland (2019) and co-founded Ireland’s Solid Network, applying democratic principles to community development.
