Dorin's research focuses on controlling and harnessing vibrations and elastic waves using architected metamaterials. His work explores structural dynamics, wave propagation, topological mechanics, and physical intelligence to develop advanced systems for energy harvesting, sensing, vibration/noise mitigation, structural health monitoring, and information processing.
His recent publications highlight innovations in 3D topological metamaterials, mechanical logic implementation, and piezoelectric wave control systems. These works demonstrate expertise in multimodal wave manipulation, low-frequency elastic wave engineering, and programmable material architectures.
