Patrick Cramond

Patrick Cramond is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering within the Faculty of Applied Science at the University of British Columbia. With extensive industrial experience spanning over two decades, including roles at CAE Machinery (18 years) and Locheed Petroleum Services (3 years), he focuses on bridging practical engineering applications with academic education.

His research and teaching interests center on Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, with specialized expertise in:

• Wood Machining and Curve Sawing in Manufacturing
• CAD/CAM integration
