Patrick Buckley

Patrick Buckley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management & Marketing at the University of Limerick and a member of Lero – the Irish Research Centre for Software, focusing on interdisciplinary software research.

His research centers on Prediction Markets, AI applications in finance/taxation, and Gamification. He investigates how blockchain and AI transform professional practices in accounting and tax services while enhancing educational experiences through active learning methodologies and co-creation frameworks.
