Patricia Trainor is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline University. She currently serves as a Graduate Writing Specialist at Yale University’s Graduate Writing Lab, assisting law and graduate students in enhancing their oral and written communication skills. Her academic and professional experience spans legal practice, education, and editorial leadership.
She earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, an M.S. in Mass Communications from San Diego State University, and a B.A. summa cum laude from the State University of New York, Brockport.
Patricia’s expertise lies in legal writing, research, and communication training, informed by her decade-long editorial and managerial roles at Simplify Compliance LLC. She has also practiced labor and employment law, representing employers and school districts in litigation and regulatory matters.
