Patricia Thompson

Dr. Patricia Thompson is an Associate Professor of Voice at the Kansas State University School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate studio voice, diction (German/French), song literature, vocal pedagogy, and methods for voice instruction. She is an active oratorio specialist, recitalist, and performer collaborating with national early music ensembles, festivals, and the Thundering Cats Big Band.

• Performance Affiliations: Professional Chorale at Carmel Bach Festival, Spire Chamber Ensemble, Founding member of Luminous Voices (award-winning professional choir in Calgary)
• Research & Practice: Specializes in vocal pedagogy, early music, and jazz/cabaret performance traditions

Her students have achieved recognition in National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competitions and pursued graduate studies at prestigious institutions in the U.S. and Canada.
