Patricia Rozario is a Professor of Vocal Studies and Repertoire at the Royal College of Music (RCM). A renowned soprano with a career spanning opera, concert work, recordings, and broadcasting, she has collaborated extensively with composers like Arvo Pärt and Sir John Tavener, who have dedicated over 45 works to her. Her musical training followed the Italian bel canto tradition under Jeffrey Talbot, and she teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students, emphasizing solid vocal technique.
She co-founded the vocal institute Giving Voice to India with her husband, pianist Mark Troop, preparing Indian students for international music careers. Additionally, she oversees the singing course at the BIMF summer music festival in Ardingly.
