Patricia Kyle serves as Coordinator for Languages Online for the College of Liberal Arts Instructional Technology Services and Director of Online Instruction in the Department of French and Italian at the University of Texas at Austin. Holding a PhD in French Linguistics from Indiana University Bloomington alongside dual graduate degrees (MBA and MA in Information and Learning Technologies) from the University of Colorado, she bridges linguistic expertise with technological innovation in language education.
Her research focuses on Second Language Acquisition and the integration of digital tools in language pedagogy, specializing in designing and managing fully online language programs. She develops asynchronous and synchronous course structures that maintain pedagogical rigor while leveraging technology for enhanced student engagement in French instruction.
