Patricia Kameri-Mbote is the Director of the Law Division at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and a Professor of Law at the University of Nairobi's School of Law, where she has taught for over 30 years. She previously served as Founding Research Director of the International Environmental Law Research Centre (IELRC) and Programme Director for Africa at UNEP over two decades. Her work spans environmental law, governance, and education at local, national, regional, and international levels.
