Patricia Jones

Patricia Jones is Assistant Professor of Biology and Director of the Bowdoin College Scientific Station on Kent Island. She holds a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from Cornell University.

Her behavioral ecology research examines animal cognition in ecological communities, particularly bumblebee foraging decisions and pollination dynamics. Recent publications investigate plant-pollinator interactions, chemical ecology of nectar, and sensory adaptations in predators.

She directs field research initiatives at Kent Island and mentors undergraduate researchers. No awards or student advisees are documented.
