Patricia Abril

Dr. Patricia Abril serves as Professor of Business Law at Miami Herbert Business School and Interim Dean of the School of Law at the University of Miami. Her scholarship examines digital privacy, technology law, and business ethics in evolving technological landscapes.

Research investigates legal frameworks for emerging technologies including generative AI attribution systems, privacy tort standards, and social media rights. Recent publications analyze unauthorized legal practice implications of AI systems and disclosure frameworks for AI-generated content.
