Patrice Wright

Patrice Wright is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology & Criminology at Howard University. Her research focuses on inequality in healthcare delivery, particularly Black women’s maternal healthcare experiences through the lens of race, class, and emotion. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Virginia, an M.A.T. from Marian University Indianapolis, and a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Purdue University.
