Patrice Oppliger

Patrice Oppliger serves as Assistant Professor in Media Science at Boston University's College of Communication (COM), teaching mass media theory and research methods.

As former president of the International Society for Humor Studies, she bridges humor analysis with critical media studies, evidenced by six scholarly books addressing evolving cultural dynamics in Disney/Nickelodeon content, wrestling, and social media.
