Pascal Salomon

Pascal Salomon is the Collaborative Piano Coordinator at Westmont College and a faculty member at SoCal Chamber Music Workshop and Santa Barbara Chamber Music Society. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Music Phenomenology from UC Santa Barbara (2017). His career spans performances as a soloist and collaborative pianist in Europe, China, Israel, and the USA, with notable venues including the National Swiss Radio (Geneva) and Forbidden City Concert Hall (Beijing).

• Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Genève (virtuosity degree under Edson Elias and Nelson Goerner)
• UC Santa Barbara DMA (mentorship by Paul Berkowitz and Lee Rothfarb)

His research focuses on Music Phenomenology, blending technical mastery with deep musical connection. He has recorded two CDs: Pascal Salomon plays Schumann and Czech Portraits. Awards include the Société de Musique d'Yverdon-les-Bains scholarship and the Maria Canals International Competition Honor Diploma.

Salomon founded the Salomon Music Academy, offering piano instruction via online and in-person classes. His teaching philosophy combines traditional methods with modern technology to foster technical and artistic growth.
