Pascal Crozet

Pascal Crozet is a CNRS Researcher affiliated with the SPHERE laboratory (UMR 7219) at Université Paris Cité. He previously held positions at Université Paris 7 - Denis Diderot and conducted research at CEDEJ in Cairo (1990-1993). His academic roles include President of the Scientific Council of the Institut Humanités, Sciences et Société and member of the ESPAR pole's Scientific Council.

His research spans the history of geometry (9th-11th centuries) and the modernization of sciences in Arab countries (19th century), with a focus on science-society dynamics, scientific language evolution, and cross-cultural educational models.
