Partha Biswas

Partha Biswas is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Stony Brook University. His research focuses on renal immunology, particularly the role of Interleukin-17 (IL-17) in kidney damage during autoinflammatory conditions and infections. He investigates molecular mechanisms of organ-specific immunity, immunometabolic regulation, and renal fibrosis, with clinical applications in chronic kidney disease and infection control.
