Parth Patel

Parth Patel is a 2024 graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, majoring in Chemistry, who will attend the University of Tennessee Health Science Center for medical school. He served as a peer tutor in the Department of Chemistry for biochemistry and analytical chemistry and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, America’s oldest and most prestigious honor society.

His research focused on optimization of minimally invasive procedures in interventional radiology, including cryoablation for pulmonary metastases and PICC line placement standards in pediatric oncology. Patel received the 2024 Chemistry Research Senior Award for his work at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and contributed to manuscripts, including a first-authored paper currently in progress.
