Parth M. Rali

Parth M. Rali is an Associate Professor in Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Temple University. He serves as Director of Fellowship Wellness and Social Media for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Temple University Hospital, Director of the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) Program, and Chair of the Temple University Hospital Anticoagulation Stewardship Committee.

Dr. Rali specializes in pulmonary embolism risk stratification and novel therapies, pulmonary hypertension, and mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices for end-stage lung disease. His clinical expertise includes acute/chronic pulmonary embolism, post-PE syndrome, critical care ultrasound, and mechanical circulatory support. Recent publications focus on VTE management in COVID-19 patients, interhospital transfer challenges, and ECMO applications in massive PE.

He chairs the National PERT Consortium Protocol Committee and serves on Healio Pulmonology’s Peer Perspective Board.
