Parrish Waters

Parrish Waters is an Associate Professor of Biology specializing in behavioral neuroscience and stress physiology. His research investigates neurobiological mechanisms underlying social hierarchies and addiction using murine models, with emphasis on monoamine neurotransmission and stress responses.

Research approaches include:

• Neurochemical analysis of stress pathways
• Social dominance behavior quantification
• Exercise interventions for addiction disorders

He teaches Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, and specialized courses in Neuroethology and Psychopathology at both undergraduate and senior seminar levels.
