Parama Chaudhury

Parama Chaudhury is a Teaching Professor at the Department of Economics, University College London, and has served as Pro-Vice Provost (Education and Student Experience) since 2022. She previously held roles as Principal Teaching Fellow (2017–2019) and Senior Teaching Fellow (2011–2017), with earlier positions at Oxford, Dartmouth, and Yale.

Her research spans Economics Education, Labor Economics, and Technological Change, with recent focus on online learning, student engagement, and inclusive teaching. Articles examine hybrid pedagogy, attainment gap interventions, and gender/ethnicity in education.

She chairs the 2023 QAA Economics Subject Benchmark Statement and leads the Center for Teaching and Learning Economics (CTaLE). Her scientific award includes PFHEA (Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy).
