Paolo Rosa

Paolo Rosa is a Researcher at the Department of Medico-Surgical Sciences and Biotechnologies, Sapienza University of Rome. He earned his PhD in Molecular Medicine (2016) and Master’s in Neurobiology (2012) from Sapienza University, with research focused on glioblastoma aggressiveness and hypoxia-induced mechanisms.

• Research Interests: Glioblastoma, BK channels, oxidative stress, extracellular vesicles, neurodegeneration, and cancer therapy.

Publications (2022–2024) emphasize glioblastoma migration under hypoxia, photothermal therapy using keratin-coated nanoparticles, exosomal DNA analysis in cancer, and oxidative stress in psoriasis and cardiovascular diseases. His work bridges molecular biology and translational medicine.

• Scientific Awards: Recipient of multiple Sapienza University research grants (2015–2023), including projects on polysialic acid and BK channels in glioblastoma.

He contributes to teaching in Molecular Biology and Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, with receiving hours in Latina. His collaborations span oncology, immunology, and nanomedicine teams.
