Paolo Letizia

Paolo Letizia is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics and Statistics at the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business, holding the Ball Corporation Professorship and Ray & Joan Myatt Faculty Fellowship. His expertise bridges Operations Management, Business Analytics, and Sustainable Operations. He serves as Associate Editor for Decision Sciences (since 2019) and contributes to editorial boards of leading operations journals.

Education includes a Ph.D. in Operations Research and Business Administration from Penn State University, M.Sc. in Supply Chain Management from Kedge Business School, and dual B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Pavia. Prior to academia, he worked at Accenture on supply chain and CRM projects.

Research focuses on sustainable operations, closed-loop supply chains, operations-marketing interfaces, and environmental regulation. His work appears in Management Science, POM, and European Journal of Operational Research. He chairs conference tracks on environmental operations and organizes sessions on sustainable practices.
