Paolo Galizzi

Paolo Galizzi is a Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Sustainable Development Legal Initiative (SDLI) and Corporate and Social Responsibility Program at Fordham Law School's Leitner Center for International Law and Justice. He holds a Laurea in Giurisprudenza (Juris Doctor equivalent) from the University of Milan, an LLM from SOAS, University of London, and a PhD in International Environmental Law from the University of Milan. His expertise spans international law, sustainable development, human rights, climate change, and corporate responsibility.

• Roles: Clinical Professor, Director of SDLI & CSR Program, and former Visiting Professor (Marie Curie Fellow) at Imperial College London
• Awarded Marie Curie Fellowship (2004–2008) and promoted to Clinical Professor in 2012
• Co-founder of the African Center on Legal Ethics (ACLE) and Ghana-based programs like the Great Lakes Human Rights Moot Court
• Recipient of the 2015 AGLA Award for contributions to Ghana's legal education and a 2017 award for ethics program initiatives

His research focuses on global legal frameworks addressing climate justice, corporate accountability, and sustainable development. He has raised over $1 million for initiatives in Ghana and collaborated with UN agencies, including UNDP and UNFPA.
