Paolo Civiero

Paolo Civiero is an RTDB Researcher at the Department of Architecture of Roma Tre University since March 2022, previously serving as a fixed-term MSCA researcher (2019-2022) with extensive teaching experience at Sapienza University of Rome and international institutions.

Education:

• Graduated in Architecture (EU five-year program), 2003
• PhD in Urban Redevelopment and Recovery, 2007

Research Interests: Dr. Civiero specializes in Architectural Technology with deep expertise in Urban Redevelopment and Energy Efficiency in Buildings. His work bridges Smart Cities infrastructure and Sustainable Architecture, focusing on innovative Positive Energy Districts Renovation models through international collaborations like COST Action CA19126 and IEA EBC Annex 83.
