Paola Marini is an Associate Professor at the Department of Environment, Land and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI) at the Polytechnic University of Turin, where she has coordinated PhD programs in Civil and Environmental Engineering since 2003. She is a member of the SISCON Interdepartmental Center for infrastructure safety and served on the Board of Directors of OSAI spa (2020-2022) as an independent director.

She supervises PhD students Sinem Hazal Akyildiz (textile waste sustainability) and Gabriele Baldassarre (critical raw materials recovery). Marini also oversees commercial research contracts for companies like OSAI, focusing on mineral quality control and asbestos-free certification.
