Prof. Pao-Yu Oei is a full professor at Europa Universität Flensburg, directing the Industrial Engineering: Energy and Environmental Management program and leading the 30-member FossilExit research group. He is affiliated with TU Berlin and DIW Berlin as a guest researcher. His expertise spans energy economics, climate policy, and sustainable transitions, with a focus on coal phase-out, renewable integration, and socio-political challenges.
