Pantelis Panteli

Pantelis Panteli is an Assistant Professor in Fashion Design and Course Leader of the BA (Hons) Fashion Design program at the University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus), within the School of Arts, Media and Communication. Previously, he held leadership roles in Fashion Design programs at Alexander College (2013–2024), including positions at Canterbury University and the University of the West of England collaboration campuses. His academic journey includes a BA in Fashion (1995) and MA in Design (2015), both from the London College of Fashion and University of the West of England.

Research interests focus on preserving Cyprus cultural heritage through modern design, technological applications in fashion, and pattern/motif communication. He has curated over 30 exhibitions and fashion shows since 1996, including collaborations with institutions like UNESCO and Cyprus Fashion Week. Administrative roles include membership in the ERASMUS Committee and professional affiliations with the Cyprus Fashion Designers Association and Cyprus Diaspora Forum.

Panteli’s teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering courses like Critical Studies in Fashion, Professional Practice, and Creative Studio Design. His artistic contributions include designing for Miss Universe (2000) and high-profile events like Star Kypros Shows (2002–2015). He has also presented at international conferences such as Athens Fashion Week (2012) and Texnon Gevnis (2019).
